The miles of rivers, shallow lakes and woodland that make up the broads were made by peat-diggers many centuries ago. Explore and admire the stunning summer sunsets, the misty mornings of autumn and the breeze rustling through the reeds in winter, it’s a delightful, ever-changing landscape.
Whether you take to the water by boat, motor cruiser or sailboat, or simply explore on foot, there are numerous picturesque villages along the way and many welcoming riverside pubs, where you can sit and watch the abundant wildlife in their natural habitat. Not to be missed is a guided tour around the many conservation areas and nature reserves.
