ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

All our properties are personally inspected and approved by COAST & COUNTRY
HOLIDAYS. All cottages are self-contained, equipped and cleaned between lets, so all
you have to do is unpack and put the kettle on. Every care has been taken to ensure
correctness of the brochure details at time of going to print, however, we can not be
held responsible for any changes beyond our control after publication.

On arrival at your holiday home you can safely assume that:-

  • All cottages are cleaned between lets, so all you have to do is unpack and put the
    kettle on. If you do not leave the property as you found it, there will be a charge for
    any extra cleaning, or the owner may ask for a refundable deposit on arrival.
  • The kitchen will be equipped with:- Gas or electric cooker, fridge, has ample storage
    and work space, cutlery, crockery, pans etc.
  • The bathroom has a bath, (some with shower attachments), a washbasin and toilet,
    shower room has shower cubicle, a washbasin and toilet.
  • That all beds are supplied with either blankets or duvets, plus pillows. Some owners
    provide bed linen, but where no linen is stated, please bring your own top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels. Most owners provide a cot, but never cot linen, please bring your own.
  • Televisions will be colour unless otherwise stated.
  • Electricity, central heating and fuel are as described in individual property details.
  • A good many of our properties accept pets free of charge, please check beforehand if bringing two or more to obtain owner’s permission. PLEASE, pets should never be left unattended, never allowed upstairs, on furniture or beds and a poop-a-scoop used when appropriate.
  • Most have parking space, some have a garage.
  • All prices are per property, not per person.
  • Please inform us at time of booking, if anyone in your party has any special
    requirements, or is dependant upon a wheelchair or otherwise disabled to ensure
    suitability of accommodation.
  • All prices include Holiday Cancellation Protection Scheme

YOUR MONEY BACK IF YOU ARE FORCED TO CANCEL

The scheme will entitle the hirer to a full refund of both the deposit, and the balance if
paid, (less £22 cancellation fee) and £30 inc. VAT and administration fee if not already paid
the hirer will be relieved of the liability for the balance. If the hirer is forced to cancel the
holiday due to death, serious injury or illness of: Husband, Wife, Father, Mother, Father-inlaw, Mother-in-law, Brother, Sister, Child, Partner or Co-director, or, because of redundancy, jury service, pregnancy, posting by H.M. services. Full refund six weeks before start date, 50% refund two weeks before start date and providing such a cancellation is confirmed in writing and the appropriate certificate being sent to COAST & COUNTRY HOLIDAYS.

If the cancellation is not for one of the above reasons, then the hirer remains liable for
the full balance of hire and the deposit is forfeited. However, if we are able to relet the
property, the balance, if already paid will be refunded, less £22 cancellation fee and a £30
inc. VAT and administration fee, if the balance has not been paid, then the hirer will be
relieved of this liability. The deposit will not be refundable. The hirer for the purpose of this
scheme shall be the person whose name and signature appears on the booking form.

MINI BREAKS

Mini-breaks are available for a maximum of 4 nights on properties marked. From
October through to March, excluding Bank Holidays, Half Terms, Christmas & New Year.
Spring/summer short breaks only available one week before start date.

HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING

Booking a holiday with COAST & COUNTRY HOLIDAYS is simple and straight forward.
First select which property and dates you require (Tip: Make a list, especially later in the
season) then, telephone our office in Wymondham: 01953 604480 and we will advise
you of the availability of your choice and make a PROVISIONAL BOOKING for you.
We will then ask you to complete a booking form in the brochure, not forgetting to sign
the declaration and send it with your 1/3rd deposit to COAST & COUNTRY HOLIDAYS
at the address indicated on the booking form. We will hold this provisional booking
for 5 days. Alternatively, complete the booking form with your three choices of properties
and dates (don’t forget that as the season progresses, choices become limited) then send the booking form together with your 1/3rd deposit to COAST & COUNTRY HOLIDAYS.
Please note: Telephone bookings or enquiries may be made THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
(excluding Bank Holidays) 9.00am to 5.30pm MONDAY to FRIDAY 9.00am to 12am
SATURDAY. Outside these times we have an answer-phone service enabling us to
deal with your enquiry as soon as our office reopens. Alternatively, you can search the
availablity of all our properties at www.HOLIDAYEAST.co.uk

BOOKING FEES

For bookings made EIGHT weeks before the start of your holiday the DEPOSIT shall consist of ONE THIRD of the total letting fee. For bookings made EIGHT WEEKS OR LESS BEFORE THE START OF YOUR HOLIDAY, the FULL AMOUNT is payable. On receipt of the booking form, we will confirm your booking by return of post, indicating which property and weeks are booked and give details of the balance payable. If you have indicated on the booking form for the balance to be paid by credit card, this will be deducted automatically and a copy of the acknowledgement sent to you with the map and key details. Alternatively on receipt of the balance, we will forward by return, map and key details of your holiday home. PLEASE NOTE, RE MINDER NOTICE S ARE NOT SENT. Summer bookings are for a minimum of one week (most Saturday to Saturday, some Friday to Friday) starting at 4pm on the day of arrival, and ending at 10am on the day of departure.

OVERSEAS BOOKINGS


Sterling cheques drawn on a U.K. bank or, Euro cheques made out
in sterling up to a value of £695.00. Payment by bank transfer:- Transfers to be made in
pounds sterling, to COAST & COUNTRY HOLIDAYS. Barclay Bank, 45 Market Street,
Wymondham, Norfolk NR18 OAL.

ALTERATIONS TO BOOKINGS

Once a booking has been confirmed we can not accept a change of holiday property. We
may however, by arrangement with the owner, accept a change of holiday dates, provided
we have 8 weeks notice. A fee of £30 inc. VAT will be made to cover administration costs.
No change will come into effect until we have received your written confirmation plus fee.

COMPLAINTS

If any problems arise in your holiday home - YOU MUST contact the owner/caretaker/
keyholder IMMEDIATELY and they will do their best to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. If the situation can not be resolved, we will be with you as soon as possible to inspect the property. DO NOT VACATE the property, as it is harder to justify your complaint once you have returned home. If you still wish to pursue your complaint, you must write within 7 days to COAST & COUNTRY HOLIDAYS.
