Calm LodgeAcle One of two individual properties situated on the outskirts of Acle, each with its own private hot tub, nestling peacefully in 5 acres of woodland, with two unfenced deep ponds. A wildlife haven and a bird watchers delight, with walks through the wood to the river and lake for fishing (by licence). A pleasant walk about a mile to the village of Stokesby with a pub and cycle hire. Acle is 5 minutes by car for shops, boat hire, pubs, restaurants, traditional butchers and Thursday market day also The Hermitage a fine fish restaurant or a train ride to Great Yarmouth or Norwich. Ideally situated for exploring the Broads with its extensive nature reserves and attractive riverside pubs. The quieter beach at Winterton on Sea can be reached within 15 minutes. Norwich is easily accessible for theatres, cathedrals, museums, cinemas and shopping malls. St Margarets Mill is a Holistic Centre and the owners offer various natural healing treatments i.e. Massages, Reiki, & Hypnotherapy etc. |  |
Harness Room, Cavick House FarmWymondham Situated on the outskirts of the market town of Wymondhmam, this cosy retreat is a converted single storey grade 11 listed property and is set in picturesque surroundings. Once part of the Cavick Estate dating back to the 1600's this working farm has a variety of animals and fresh produce available. Swallow CottageReedham This Victorian cottage is furnished to a high standard and peacefully situated in this delightful Broadland village of Reedham, overlooking the quay on the river Yare, with panoramic views over the woodland and marshes beyond. You can sit quietly and enjoy the views and the wildlife or fish close by, or hire a boat to explore the famous waterways, and there are private moorings opposite. Also a chain ferry which takes you to the other side of the river. It is walking distance to three pubs all serving good food, an 'open all hours' store, fish & chip shop and a railway station, further shopping in Acle 6 miles. The fine City of Norwich for museums, cathedrals, theatres, shopping malls & the coastal resort of Great Yarmouth for sandy beaches and seaside entertainment are equidistant and within a half hours car ride. Nearby are Pettitts Adventure Park and R.S.P.B. reserve Strumpshaw Fen. |  |
The Old MillMattishall Originally a five storey corn mill, built in 1857/58, now a delightful holiday retreat and surrounded by open farmland in Mattishall. The coastal towns of Blakeney, where you can take a boat trip or Wells-next-the-Sea for long stretches of sandy beaches can be reached within the hour. The StablesMulbarton Located in Mulbarton, The Long Barn has been skillfully converted into two comfortable holiday homes, with light airy lounge and mind your head doorways. Next door is a vintage car business. The property overlooks what is reputed to be the largest common in Norfolk, with a duck pond and children's play area. The village has a small collection of shops, fish & chip shop and a pub. It is within easy reach of the fine city of Norwich with its cathedrals, theatres and night life. A liitle further to the Norfolk Broads for day boat hire and fishing. Gt Yarmouth for traditional seaside entertainment or Lowestoft with vast stretches of sandy beaches and promenade, both within an hours car ride. |  |
Beck CottageWest Beckham This pretty cottage is the centre one of three and is quietly situated in this unspoilt North Norfolk village of West Beckham, within walking distance to two pubs and a small store. There are footpaths or enjoy cycling the many country lanes of the Quiet Lane and Norfolk Coast Cycle Way. Nearby are two heated indoor swimming pools and a bowling rink. Holt, a delightful Georgian town with many shops, restaurants, antique shops, traditional butchers and bakers. The coastal resort of Sheringham is two miles away for sandy beaches, golf course, Little Theatre and the North Norfolk Steam Railway, which runs along the coastline via Weybourne to Holt. Alternatively it is possible to catch the Norwich train to Cromer for end of pier entertainment, esplanade gardens and cinema. Other attractions include Felbrigg and Blickling Hall, Sheringham Park, many nature reserves along the coast, Shire Horse Centre, Muckleborough Military Collection. |  |

Honeysuckle CottageWorstead A delightful 17th century mid-terraced cottage is situated in the village of Worstead, famous for its Worsted cloth and its annual village festival in July. A short stroll takes you to the magnificent medieval church. Take the train on the Bittern Line to the fine city of Norwich or the quaint seaside towns of Cromer or Sheringham. A good area for walking or cycling with the Weavers Way footpath and fine sandy beaches of Sea Palling, Happisburgh and Mundesley nearby. North Walsham, a busy market town, only 3 miles away, is a convenient shopping centre. The Capital of the Broads, Wroxham is close by, here you can hire a day boat to explore the waterways, fish or stop for a meal at one of the riverside inns.
